Picadillo
(Ground Beef in Gravy)
Ingredients:

2 lbs Ground Beef
2 tbsp Vegetable oil
1/2 small Onion (chopped)
1/2 Green Pepper (chopped)
1 tbsp Spice Mix
1 tbsp Consume
1/2 to 3/4 cup Water
1 Tomato (quartered)
2 Potatoes (cubed)
4 oz Tomato Sauce
Place ground beef in 12 inch skillet with oil and brown.
Drain excess oil. Add onion and green pepper and saute
till tender. Add tomato sauce, spice mix, and blend
together. Add water (approximately 2 inches above
meat) and heat until boiling. Reduce heat to low. Add
consume, tomatoes and cubed potatoes and simmer for
20 to 25 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Serves 6
