Flour Tortillas

Ingredients:
4 cups Flour
1 cup Shortening
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
Warm water (appox. 1 cup)

In Large bowl, put flour, salt, and baking powder and mix
until well blended. Then add shortening and cut into flour with hands. Push mixture to side of bowl, and at the opposite end, add a little water a little at a time and start kneading with hands to form dough. Let rest 15 minutes. Grab a small handful of dough and make into balls. Using rolling pin, roll out balls of dough and cook on griddle at medium heat, turning tortilla as needed till done.
Makes 15 to 20 tortillas.
